The NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S II is Nikon's second-generation S-Line flagship telephoto zoom for full-frame Z-mount mirrorless cameras, delivering a constant f/2.8 aperture across the entire focal range. At approximately 998 g it is the lightest lens in its class, thanks to a redesigned optical formula featuring Super ED, aspherical ED, ED, aspherical, fluorite, and SR elements. Its Silky Swift VCM multi-focus AF system is roughly 3.5× faster than its predecessor, making it ideal for fast-moving subjects in sports, events, portraiture, and hybrid stills/video workflows. An internal zoom mechanism, 6.0-stop VR (Synchro VR), minimised focus breathing, and a click/de-click control ring round out a lens built uncompromisingly for professional production use.
